IT’S A WRAP! OLIVE ENDS YEAR OF SUCCESS WITH TRIO OF NEW BUSINESS WINS

Leading independent contract catering provider, Olive Catering Services, ended a record-breaking year for the business on a high note by claiming three high-profile new contracts.
Topping off a remarkable 12-month period in which Olive secured over £3.6 million annual new business, December saw the company land contracts which will see it provide full service restaurants to household names Carpetright Plc, DFS, and Samsung.
The new contracts build on an impressive 98% client retention rate, which Olive has achieved for the second year running; maintaining an enviable line-up of over 100 contracts nationwide including the head office of leading fashion and homeware retailer, Matalan.
As a result of the business’s commitment to developing the skills of its team members, 2015 also saw Olive achieve the Investors in People Silver Standard – an accolade given to less than 3% of organisations recognised with a standard in the UK. The award quickly followed the appointment of Jo Cowan as Olive’s first ever learning and development manager, which soon saw the business introduce an e-learning training platform, and a new mentoring initiative.
Awards success didn’t end there either, with Olive’s Food Innovation Team claiming the Innovation award at the 2015 FSM awards – adding to the Unit Manager award Olive’s Paul Toms won at the Cost Sector Catering Awards 2015.
