Olive Privacy Policy

Olive Catering respects your privacy and are fully committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy is designed to give you information on how we collect your data and who we share it with.

Our offices are located at:

Barn Farm

Sibson Road,

Ratcliffe Culey,

Warwickshire,

CV9 3PH

Information we collect from you

Our website is purely for your information only, we do not accept payments.

When you contact us via our website we process the personal information you provide (name, company, telephone number, email address) and the reason for your contact to respond to your enquiries about our goods and services, our employment vacancies, to manage our accounts and records or to handle complaints.

We record your contact details so we can respond to your enquiry and add you to our contact database. We will only retain your contact details on our system if we have a legitimate reason to do so (e.g. because you are a required point of contact associated with a business to business financial sales or purchase transaction that we are required to retain for legal or regulatory purposes or if we are actively communicating with you).

Who do we share your data with?

We may share your data with our clients, business partners (such as IT service providers and employment agencies). We will only disclose the minimum data necessary and our partners are contractually required not to use your personal data for any other purpose.  They are also required to keep your data secure.
We do not transfer personal data outside of the EEA.

Retention

We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which we collected it; including for the purposes of any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements following its legitimate use.

To determine the appropriate retention period for personal data, we consider the amount, nature and sensitivity of the personal data; the potential risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure of your personal data; the purposes for which we process your personal data (and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means); and the applicable legal requirements.

For example: by law we have to keep basic information about our clients (including contact, identity, financial and transaction data) for 7 years after they cease being clients for tax purposes and in order to defend ourselves against any contractual claims arising from the transaction in question.

In some circumstances you can ask us to delete your data: see below for further information.  That will not necessarily oblige us to delete all of it because, as above, we might need to retain some aspects of it to meet legal, accounting or reporting obligations to which we are subject.

Recruitment

If you voluntarily provide personal information relating to job vacancies, CV’s will be used for the purposes of recruitment only. They will be shared only with authorised Olive Catering Team Members and our appointed client representatives.

Unsuccessful applicant and shortlisted/interviewed applicants’ CV’s will be retained for 6 month.

Successful candidate’s CV’s will be retained for the duration of their employment.
We may also use your CV if we feel there is another suitable vacancy within our business.
