We are delighted to have been shortlisted for a leading industry award after firmly establishing Olive as one of the contract catering sector’s outstanding success stories over the last 12 months.
Our shortlisting for Cost Sector Catering’s Contract Catering Award follows a hugely successful 2018, which saw us win a number of high-profile contracts, roll out an inventive street food initiative, and amplify our commitment to outstanding food and service.
As well as landing notable staff restaurant contracts including ITV, St George’s Park, MIRA Tech, and Britannia Pharmaceuticals, last year also saw further development of The Kerb – a street food inspired roadshow which saw 84 events take place at Olive restaurants around the country.
The last 12 months have also seen us invest in the people who represent the life and soul of our client partnerships. Not only did we embark on a new coaching culture, which includes an in-house development programme called The Power of You; we also continued to offer a modern apprenticeship scheme, with a significant number of our team members currently on courses covering levels one to seven.
Spanning 18 judged award categories, the Cost Sector Catering Awards represent the catering industry's chance to honour the efforts of often unsung heroes who help feed people throughout the public sector and in workplaces across the country. Winners will be carefully chosen from the shortlisted entrants at the awards night in London on Thursday 25th April. Should we win the Contract Catering Award, it will be the second time we have landed the esteemed accolade having also won it in 2016.
Damon Brown, one of our co-founders, commented: “Being shortlisted for such a respected award is something we can be really proud of, and is a real testament to every member of our team, who work tirelessly to ensure we are the independent contract caterer of choice. We’ll be keeping our fingers firmly crossed for more good news when the award winners are announced on the 25th April.”
