Olive appears in the Foodservice Growth Report for the fifth year running
Updated: Nov 28, 2019
Olive are delighted to be one of just four companies to appear on the latest Foodservice Growth Report for five years in a row.
The Foodservice Growth Report, prepared by AlixPartners and EP Business in Hospitality, profiles the top 20 leading independent operators within the UK foodservice sector.
2018 is clearly an exciting time to be part of the foodservice sector, as when AlixPartners first launched this report back in 2012, they commented that “this particular sector was not well covered by financial investors as it often fell between the two stools of either facilities management or hospitality & leisure. It is quite clear that this is no longer the case.”
Olive appeared at number 16 in 2018, with a turnover of £27 million and 10% profit CAGR (compound annual growth rate). Strict cost management supported another year of continued growth.
The report states that for Olive, “further growth is expected to follow … as the business has secured several high-profile contracts including a multi-site deal with ITV to cater three separate venues and a three-year deal at St George’s Park, the Football Association’s national football centre.”
Damon Brown, director and co-founder of Olive said, “2018 has been a record breaking year for Olive in terms of business growth. We are very proud of the partnerships we are forming with blue chip companies who simply want the best food for their employees. To appear on the Foodservice Growth Report again is a testament to the hard work and dedication demonstrated by everyone at Olive.”
