Our approach to the environment is enshrined in our environmental policy which has been accredited to the international standard ISO14001. The policy is supported by an environmental management system that ensures the business plans, monitors and continually improves its environmental performance. Olive employs an environmental consultant to provide us with the expertise to continually scrutinize our operations and improve where necessary. Our four core values provide the structure to achieve the mission statement and our environmental objectives:

Our dedicated purchasing team is focussed on sourcing the finest ingredients at the best possible price through a purchasing strategy based around local, seasonal, sustainable sources. We monitor our environmental impact in line with good accounting practices.
We believe in timely, effective communication. New initiatives and exciting ideas on sustainability and efficiency will be positively promoted to our customers. We hold regular meetings and briefings with the catering team as everybody needs to understand the business goals that will only be achieved with the full support of the team.
